Mini-Liver Pâté Burgers with Sesame Coleslaw

Sesame coleslaw

  • 500 mL (2 c.) of grated green cabbage and/or Chinese cabbage
  • 125 mL (½ c.) of grated carrot
  • 45 mL (3 tbsp.) of mayonnaise
  • 5 mL (1 tsp.) of toasted sesame oil
  • 22 mL (1½ tbsp.) of cider vinegar
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp.) of maple syrup
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp.) of sesame seeds
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper
Preparation steps
  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix all the coleslaw ingredients. Season to taste.
  3. Place the buns on a baking sheet and heat in the oven for 5 minutes or until the tops are crisp. Remove from oven and let cool.
  4. Slice open the buns, cover the bottom halves with sliced liver pâté and garnish with coleslaw.
  5. Place top half of buns on mini-burgers and serve.
