- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
- 625 ml (2 1/2 cups) fresh diced tomatoes
- 2-3 stems of fresh thyme or rosemary
- Ground salt and pepper
